Opportunities for refreshments are numerous, but here are some suggestions:
- Los Corales - Paseo Maritimo, near Calle Miramar, a seafood restaurant.
- El Huerto - Playa de la Fontanilla. Access via the beach or past Mirador del Jabiguero. Watch the sunset with sand between your toes!
- El Gamba - Plaza Santa Catalina, a restaurant with a pretty ivy covered
terrace serving delicious seafood.
- Café de la Habana - a relaxed coffee house serving cakes, toasts and milkshakes on Plaza Catalina. They also have internet access.
- Bar Los Hermanos - Plaza Puerta de la Villa. A locals favourite for fried fish as a tapa or racion (½ portion)
- Panaíso - Calle Pascual Junquera 36. A German bakery for the tastiest wholemeal and seedy breads, flapjacks, cakes and mueslis.
Pedestrian streets Calle Cadiz and Calle Hospital running off Plaza Santa Catalina have more bars, restaurants and various ice cream parlours.
