Conil is a cosmopolitan, friendly little seaside town on the Costa de la Luz that has maintained it's sense of identity in the face of rising tourism.
Very popular with the Spanish, Conil attracts the more relaxed holiday maker. Low-rise and white washed, the newer districts have been built sympathetically to be in keeping with the character of the old quarter.
The restaurants, bars and clubs of Conil are all concentrated in the streets
nearest the beach side promenade, alongside shops selling gifts, beach wares
and holiday clothes. Intertwined with these are the narrow, winding maze-like
streets and stairways of the old quarter; well worth exploring for the chance
to peak into flower filled patios.
The one bedroom apartment is placed perfectly for all the essentials. It is opposite the bus station, eliminating long walks with luggage and within 5 minutes reach of two supermarkets, two bakeries, the restaurants, tourist office and even a language school! The beach is only an 8 minute walk downhill.
